Christine Sessions, MBA, MSSE is an Italian-American, first-generation Ph.D. student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She has a passion for the planet, caring for the community and making Earth a better place. With a goal to further planetary resources through space access, she is seeking roles in the industry where she can apply her diverse skillset. With her technical skills and passion for space exploration, Christine is committed to advancing the industry and making space accessible to all.
Experience
Christine has several years of experience in the space and defense industry. She has extensive knowledge of spacecraft systems, mission planning, systems engineering, and real-time operations, working as a satellite flight controller for several years. She has also collaborated with other national and international partners on space missions and worked on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of space exploration. Her time as lead systems engineer for Project COMET has advanced her skills in leadership, system lifecycle processes, design and modeling, system architecture, configuration control, and project management.
Skills
Christine has a diverse set of technical skills, including requirements engineering, spacecraft operations, project management skills such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence, and modeling software like Siemens NX, CATIA, and SysML. She is also skilled in data analysis, programming, data mining, and both technical communication and public speaking. Her ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations make her an invaluable asset to any team.
